Zwakala - Come Closer
Just up the road from Mina’s Farm Venue you will find our award winning micro-brewery – Zwakala!
"Come closer" is what the name means and that’s exactly the convivial African spirit behind our delicious range of beers and gin and tonic on tap! Each batch of beer is handcrafted, nothing unnatural is used in the brewing process and the most important ingredient is the clear and pure mountain water drawn from the Letaba River. As the saying goes, “once you have tasted the water of the Letaba, you will never want to leave”.
The brewery has enormous windows that overlook the mountains and is the perfect place to hang out over weekends enjoying not only the beer and gin and tonic on tap but also the variety of outdoor games such as – life-size jenga, badminton & corn hole which are fun for both adults and kids!
Delicious food can be ordered to enjoy with the variety of craft drinks on offer and with loads of outdoor space there is also a magical kiddies playground that will keep the kids occupied for hours.

A Bar with Beer on Tap
Zwakala is able to provide you with a portable bar and kegs for the freshest Beer on Tap! This is popular with guests – served during the canapes. We will send you all the prices on request.

Having ventured to Magoebaskloof, your guests will no doubt be looking forward to seeing friends & family on the Friday night before the excitement of your Wedding Day. Book a night of award winning craft beer & gourmet burgers to catch up with everybody!

Photo Opportunities
Groomsmen enjoy having a cold one with the photographer in the brewery before the ceremony. After the ceremony the brewery is also a wonderful spot to have a drink and celebrate with the bridesmaids & groomsmen. Please note that the brewery is open to the public on weekends from 11am-5pm.
